# How to Add Additional Fields to Salesforce

> Adjust your Invoca Call Log layout in Salesforce to display additional Marketing Data fields beyond the default set.

## Objective

Add Invoca custom fields to an Invoca Call Log in Salesforce.

**Applies to:** Salesforce

## Steps

1. You can adjust the layout of the Invoca Call Log to choose which fields display — only a subset is shown by default, to avoid overwhelming users.
2. Find the Marketing Data slot ID on the Marketing Data dictionary page in Invoca — make sure all columns in the table are visible.
3. Edit the object layout in Salesforce and add the fields where you want them to appear. The field name/value follows a pattern like `customer_string_name_1` and `customer_string_value_1`, where `1` is the slot ID. Editing the Salesforce object layout itself is a standard Salesforce process.
